Phase 4: raw samples are owned entirely by this node; denoising + classification runs locally. Only the resulting taxon classifications sync upward — see node.edna.

Register a raw eDNA sample

Raw reads stay on this node by default — only the classification results below (after running denoising + classification) sync to the federation automatically. See node.edna. The raw reads themselves can still be shared with the Hub on request via Transfers.
